No. 65: Make jam

After searching the internet for recipes and comparing them all, I finally decided on a recipe for homemade jam. The reason I wanted to be able to do this is because jam jars are adorable – no lie, that is the sole reason. But I’m really glad that I also managed to learn something new that I’ll hopefully be able to use often in the future (but maybe not too often because the sugar content is a little insane).

The finished product tasted absolutely amazing. My boyfriend and I seem to be on the same page more often than not, and he ended up making fresh spanish bread at home – perfect and complementary to my jam. We spent most of the evening cooking and baking and I think that’s what I got most out of this experience. Definitely something that I hope to be doing a lot more in the future.
