Travelling has always been a big part of my life – even if it was just to the same place. As a kid, trips back to the Philippines to visit family (and to give me the opportunity to practise my Tagalog) were quite frequent. Being in another country as a child was like exploring a whole new world with a different language, different foods, different sights and smells and feelings – it’s no wonder that I fell in love with traveling at an early age. My mum used to tell me stories of all the places she got to visit as a child (like how she went to school for a while in Japan, just because). Growing up, it was a dream of mine to go to University abroad, but at the end of high school, it just wasn’t plausible for me to go. So I’m hoping now that I’m (almost) graduating, I can hopefully make the most of this time and go on a few more adventures.
I know in my heart that I’m making this page in hopes that I can think (and dream) more travel opportunities into existence.
